What is online teaching?
Online teaching is distance learning delivered over the internet using Voice over IP (VoIP) technology.
What are the advantages of online teaching?
Online private tutoring saves time and money for all involved as they do not have to travel but can work from the comfort of their own homes. Traffic, especially in the urban environment of the 2020s, is a hassle that no one needs before and after intellectual work.
How does it work?
Please contact me by email and once we have agreed the terms, I will send you a Google Meet link. Meet (formerly Hangouts) is Google's video conferencing service; it is very similar to Skype but it doesn't even need to be installed on a laptop.
At the agreed time, we both click on the link, and after clicking on the Join button, we are "on air". You can access the link at any time in your email programme, but it is best to bookmark it, i.e. pin it to your browser's address bar with Ctrl- or Cmd-D.
Meet is super easy to use, it works on laptops, but - a bit less comfortably - also on smartphones.
What should I do now?
Please send an email on 
with the following information:
- which level of Hungarian you would like to achieve (basic, intermediate, advanced)
- what your goal is with the language (e.g. language exam / profession)
- when you would like to start, on which days of the week / at which times you have time
- and if you would like me to call you back, your telephone number
